I really don't know why they painted white on white plastic, maybe to better match the parts that are white painted on blue plastic I guess but I don't think it was really necessary for his arms and thighs. Worst case scenario if it starts getting scuffed I'll clean it off. It's super easy to clean the paint off nylon.
Bot mode is great overall on this guy but his shoulder articulation is stiff due to part of the shoulder joint being based in his torso rather than his arm, which is a shame if you get what I'm talking about it basically means his arms only swing out in the one direction.
