>>8400209do what I do, buy plexiglass sheets off amazon and make a wood base, if you have a router table this is very easy, but even just a trim router with a rabbeting bit (1/4" rabbet) should work as long as it has a bearing on it. Just get some small oak or other hardwood boards, cut them to size, rabbet out the edges and then measure and cut the plexiglass to make a box.
The only other thing you need is thin acrylic glue, you can get this on amazon as well.
