The original TM2 Megatron is one of my favourite figures of all time, one of my grails. I was not impressed at all by the new one in photos and videos. In hand though, I'm forced to admit that the Legacy figure is much better than I initially thought.
One thing that hugely affects his silhouette is that the dragon "elbows" on Legacy are much lower down than on the original. In general the new one looks less wild and almost too neat.
