The only other figure i can think of that people had a problem with was that Captain America that had little pieces glued on, but most of the problems was there from day one, because there's dozens of little glued squares

And to answer OP's question, most of the hate just comes from the fact that Mezco's One:12 line is expensive. Some people here bought into the line when some figures went on clearance for $40-50 and they expected the line to always be that cheap. Everything went up in price in the past 5 years.
