>>7201688You're assuming everyone is playing with their figures though, because a lot of people here just display their shit.
Usually there's no interaction with them, so having them out on your shelves, they pretty much work all by themselves.
I would consider myself a HUGE scale-fag, because i have over 5000 1:18 figures, but i still buy other scales. I put some on display, and most everything else in storage. What is on display doesn't always interact with other figures.
So my PAK Sakura? She just shoot all by herself, in front of some random artwork behind her that wasn't even from SF.
I don't think scale really should matter unless you have that interaction with other figures, are going to play with them together, or have a diorama. Of course, you can have a bunch of random scales all interacting with each other too. It all depends on what you're trying to do and how they'll compare.
It's not like most import lines even have a consistent scale, since popular likes like Figuarts, REvoltech, and Figm are all non-scale. Even within the same line, scale can differ a lot. They basically worked on a budget and the amount of accessories, articulation, etc dictated what size they'd be in.
Storm Collectibles being an entire line having a consistent scale is a good thing.
