OoT is still regarded as the one of the best games ever made, for that reason many people see OoT Link as the definitive version of the character, so releasing figures of all the other inferior/lesser Links first makes perfect sense from a business standpoint. I can see figma pulling out some monkey paw tier crap in the future, likely we'll see some bullshit released like an 'OoT Link Retro Version' based on the in-game model of OoT Link from the N64 game, before we get a figure that is faithful to the game's artwork.
