>>9035649Pic related was mostly AK 3rd gens mixed with some Vallejo and Mig. I find AK paints very nice. Good coverage and perfect for brush painting, can be mixed with both Vallejo and Mig paints, it does have problems with flaking sometimes.
Also now that i´ve tested with their own thinner even airbrushing is not so bad anymore. For armor im going to recommend the Real Color range since they stick better and are better when airbrushing, and they can be mixed with both Mr. Color and Tamiya Acrylics.
As for the correct color shades, just forget about all of that, you will never get the correct shade of paint straight from the bottle when it comes to building stuff in scale no matter what the marketing says. Just get the closest match and look at reference pictures, then mix your own shade from the stuff you own.
