WHY WHY WHY!
are minifigs like, the most expensive thing for Lego to add to a set? like, does each minifig add $10 per set? aren't they all just more little plastic bits?
just sayin'... if Lego had included ONE gingerbread Snow Trooper and Officer, and one gingerbread Hoth rebel guy, people MIGHT have bought more of them (yes $80 sets) to "army build"
if the idea was to make ONE gingerbread thing each year now, next year we'll get a gingerbread X-Wing with Luke, they still could include different army-building gingerbread minifigs.
