mine snapped at the part where the silver buckle was connecting with the red belt part and now the whole thing is barely holding itself, the only thing that's keeping it from completely detaching is 3 red and blue wires.
I am not fat and I am not putting any extreme stress onto it either, I wore it a few times when I got it new from the box and it just broke 2 days later when I try it on again.
