A while back I found a tutorial to use Tamiya super thin cement to melt down extra gunpla plastic from runners to use for recasting. That was the easy part. But I don't know what material I could use to make a mold of the parts that could safely hold the cement mix.
I had tried making a plaster mold but that didn't work well and had a negative impact on the parts I tested with.
I doubt anyone has experience in this specific situation, but does anyone have ideas as to what might be a good material for the mold?
Obviously there are other/easier materials to work and recast in but I thought it would be interesting to try/ I'm autisticly wanting to make pieces from actual gunpla plastic.
