Im thinking of doing a much-needed upgradeto a resin 3D printer from my old printrbot this holiday season. I did a little bit of research into my options and I learned about a new alternative to MSLA called DLP. Supposedly the technology boasts much longer screen life, less power consumption, and higher quality prints. Then again it’s relatively untested and has a higher cost of entry and probably maintenance as well. Should I pull the trigger on getting such a printer now or wait and see if things get cheaper if DLP catches on in the industry?
