They have a perfectly servicable Starscream and instead o having the repaint be a proper Skywarp and Thudnercracker is Elita-1 which nobody cares about and she's done nothing important
Inferno is a character nobody remembers either and he should have been the RID version of Optimus Prime
People want the Dinobots painted in their awful G1 colors and want the repaints to be a nobody called DinoKing, they have a prime oppertunity to repaint the dinobots into the movie colors or reference the rescue bots characters which far more people know and are aware of.
TR gave us shit leaders like Overlord and Skyshadow when they really should have been repainted into versions of megatron since They use Megatron's traditional vehicle modes.
They have wastes of space like Moonracer and a bunch of stupid cars that nobody will buy instead of making a good deluxe bumblebee figure that combines which we've really needed for a long time. Warden has such a fucking aversion towards Bumblebee it's amazing new RID and the mvoies prove that he's the most popular character and instead warden and all his room temperature IQ brilliance doesn't give us a proper bumblebee but instead a bunch of nothing characters. There's so much potential to release popular characters in these molds but instead they fill it with crap. You could easily make a bunch of bees from different generations and Animated is ripe to be references since it's really gone underappreciated. Moonracer could have easily been a very good rendition of animated Bumblebee. But the most current bumblebee we have is just a legends figure. Hell I'm still mad that they're wasting a slot on Rodimus Prime when Animated Aqua Bumblebee would have fit the leader theme more since he has a detachable submersible vehicle and his smaller figure could have been Sari.
Archer gave us what we the fans wanted in spades.
