>>87194623.0 had a cross over campaign mode and whatever managed to leak from 4.0's development was that the cross over aspect was going to be expanded even further. The different branches (Pixar/Disney/Marvel/Lucas) were a bitch to work with in regards to how they wanted their licenses to be handled so that's why everything was split originally. Yeah, it was all under the Disney umbrella, but Disney Interactive was so low on the totem pole that they could be pushed around. Marvel was apparently the worst offender out of all of them as they demanded special treatment and specific figures to get made over fan favorites. Yondu was a last minute addition at the request of Marvel from what I remembered and the Tron shit was pushed to the 3.0 release because it was no longer in the budget.
Out of all these Toys to Life franchises, I honestly loved Infinity the most, mainly because of the Toy Box mode which was not restrictive at all and honestly was where they really put their time and effort into making it work. The campaigns were all pretty mediocre to bad. The only stand outs were the Toybox Takeover Campaign in 3.0 and all the Star Wars campaigns in 3.0.
