>>10632104I'm the same way, and this tank was the first Star Wars toy I bought in a long time. It got me looking hard at the TVC vehicles and most of em are just great. The Mandalorian AT-ST Raider up on Pulse right now is a fantastic piece with a gorgeous paint job and it even has little extra netting bits to add to it's battleworn look. It looks like something more from Acid Rain then Star Wars.
The Imperial Troop Transport is also really nice as it's basically an armored space bus perfect for, as the name implies, troop transporting. The TVC version took what was a silly toy original hunk of plastic from the original line and turned it into a quasi believable war machine.
And one of my favorite sleeper hit vehicles from the line was the Tatooine Skiff. Like the tank, this thing hit some deep discounts all over the place. But it's details and weathering are really nice, it has an absolutely fantastic flight stand, and can work with tons of figures as a beat up old hoverboat. I use a group of Lost Planet figures I got cheap from BBTS, back when their sales were actually good. Equipped with some more contemporary weapons and gear, they can fit quite nicely into almost any near future tech 1:18 display.
TVC has some really nice vehicles, and many are worth grabbing. Just avoid the figures, those are some of the worst the scale has to offer from my experiences.
