Finally received my test-prints for a project I've been working on for some time.
This is a prototype of a blank anime-styled head with interchangeable hair, ears, and face parts. These will be sold as fodder sets with different hair styles, animal-ears, headgear, elfen/human/etc ears, and face plates that will have different base facial expressions (smiling, yelling, ahegao mouth, etc) for making your own custom waifu/husbando. This in turn is a piece of a greater project I've been working on for custom monstergirl kits. I may have to do the faceplates in FUD to preserve the smooth details so sanding won't be needed. This print is in Black Smooth PA12 from Shapeways. The peg for the neck joint is 2.3mm but will come with a 3mm joint as well for compatibility with other figures to kitbash.
While the material is bumpy when printed it can be sanded, primed, and painted. Next print will be of different hair styles (twintails, ponytail, bobbed straight, bobbed curly, and hime-cut) with other ear designs (long horizontal elf ears, webbed fish ears, and monstergirl horse/cow ears).
