I tried to fill in the holes with some JB weld before I applied the pavement basecoat, but while it worked okay for one of the holes and so so for another, the third started to turn into a disaster and I had to spend 30 minutes using a dental tool scrapping hardened JB weld that had dripped everywhere so I gave up after that.
