>>7899583I would just prime the entire thing and then repaint it and seal it when a mat/satin clear coat to protect the paint (especially the joints that'll be rubbing); maybe disassemble it and strip the factory paint off first (depends if it's strips off easy without damaging the plastic). To repaint the white and red lines on the costume, I would scribe over the borders before stripping/priming and then use the scribed marks as a paint guide (and a way to keep the paint application neat) and/or use painters tape.
Might want to wait for the Amazing Yamaguchi All Might to be released before putting a lot of work into the MacFarlane though.
