And you really don't know anything about prototypes, do you? A lot of 3d art is done first and then joints are added to it. How it's integrated is still as possible as if it were done onto a standard buck like we see with Hasbro and Kenner.
see pic when the sculpt is actually physically made, instead of being put onto a buck like traditional prototypes are made.
You can see the problems that happens when they just cut shit apart and remolding it has some really really stupid consequences.
