Nothing can ever take the place of a good tampograph. Nothing can ever take the place of a good spray app. It looks good from far away to close up, but sadly, it's being used less and less and we're still being charged like they're still in use.

It's more labor intensive than your normal action figure, so it's going to cost more.
We've seen a few companies make cheaper versions under $50, but they ultimately look MEGO-ish with ill fitting clothes and just cheaper overall, probably on purpose.
There's a couple of other companies who offer higher end dolls while being cheaper than Mezco, but you can definitely see a difference in that the stitching is worse and dont offer double stitching where needed. Sometimes the bodies are just shit.
AND it's hard to say if these cheaper companies aren't just inflating their price, because of how niche these types of dolls are.
If a bro company that is known to offer fair prices for their toys, like McFarlane, were to make a One:12-tier figure, then we'd know what the fair price for something like that would be.
