Now that I think about it, any big sized fashion doll that isn't creepy American Girl-like doll, never survived for long. Maybe they're just too expensive and you can get the same thing for less with smaller fashion dolls, as well lacking that unique appeal ugly AG-like dolls have.
This issue reminds me of the short-lived very popular Dawn doll which was 1/18 scale doll that surpassed Barbie. They're were very high quality for their price and size and had all things Barbie had at the time just in smaller scale: eyelashes, click knees and fabric bags. Mattel tried to compete with them and make similar dolls, but theirs were poor quality, however Topper Toys, the company behind Dawn Dolls went bankrupt and got investigated for some scummy shit.
I wish there was another great miniature fashion doll line, the last we got was Lego Scala RIP.
