I've never seen a little boy in the girls section checking out Barbie tho.
When the Movie Trolls came out I saw a little boy grab a pink Troll doll , and his mother took it out of his hands. The father handed him an angry looking colorless male plush Troll, and told him "Get this one.The other one looks like a doll". The little boy didn't like the male stuffed animal, and tried reaching for the pink Troll doll. His mother said "Stop", and he walked from the toy section empty handed.
