I had lego as a kid (aqua sharks, pirates) but then entered dark ages.
When Chima came out (i was here in /toy/ but for retro figures collecting mostly) i was mind blown by its minifigures and sets. Back in the day i would never expect lego to have crow-people minifigures with detailed wings (i have like around 6 of them now) and other unique monsters. During 90s Lego was pretty limited and simple.
But i wasn't sure if i should start going to toy stores to buy them.
Picrelated Gorilla Mech was the last thing i saw before running to the toy store to buy some lego because i knew it's a new hobby full of awesome shit.
