>>10473058I have some experience with sailmaking. It is EXTREMELY cheap and pretty easy. Don't worry about molds - once you have the masts and yards assembled, you can make paper cutouts of the sails, adjusting them as needed. Once you have them dialed in, you can use them as templates for your actual cloth sails. If you want a rundown, I can drop a more comprehensive post, but I encourage anyone interested in MOCing pirates or ships to learn how to make their own sails. Not only is it way cheaper, but it allows you to be much more creative with your ships.
