https://www.banthaskull.com/story/news-its-mando-monday-and-the-vintage-collection-gets-skunked-again>If you've missed it, today's Mando Monday collector reveals were entirely for the Black Series. This was mostly in the form of the Archive line, but also included an all new Bo-Katan figure, a figure the 3.75" community has been throwing their weight behind since before it was cool. So that combines for some extra sting on today's news shutout for the Vintage Collection. Also, TVC collectors would KILL to get a second crack at some of those same Archive characters in The Vintage Collection.>At the same time we understand that, "you can't get blood from a stone." If there's no product coming in the near term, there's nothing to announce. But as we cautioned after the record shattering success of the Razor Crest HasLab campaign, something needs to be done or said to ensure 3.75" collectors that TVC isn't the afterthought that it most certainly appears to be.>We backed the Barge, and were BEGGING for Hasbro to release repacks. REPACKS! And we got nothing for the most part. Now we shattered the record for the Razor Crest, and while we want newly tooled figures this time, it's feeling like second verse, same as the first.>We just need something to make us feel that the Vintage Collection is worth Hasbro's time. I believe in good business where both sides win. Good business is sustainable and effortless. Business favors, on the other hand, are not sustainable. Sooner or later it gets old for the side doing the favors. It really feels like The Vintage Collection is becoming the latter (though a $10 million up front Crest payment would argue that the consumers did the most recent favor).
