>>8520681My wife's based a fuck. She's always supported all of my hobbies. I mean fuck... she supports car hobby.... which is way more expensive than toys. So toys aren't shit.
When we met the extent of her razzing was
>"lol You're such a hoarder, Anon. How do you even still have all of these?" When we're out she's always down to check out the toy section and she gets me the most random obscure Skeletor stuff every Birthday and Christmas.
Since the MOTUO line released she's been checking apps and inventory more than I have. She knows I'm trying to complete the whole collection and we enjoy hunting and making the trips together so it's a win win.
Even before her, I never got any shit from girlfriends about my toys. But I guess I don't come off as a toy nerd either. Unless someone really knows me, I'm probably the last person people would affiliate with the stereotype. I keep most of my collection in the basement (away from visitors and their kids) and the extent of my display on our main floor is a 24"×24"×3" wall frame with small shelves that houses loose vintage, bootleg, gummball machine and generally strange figures, miniatures and distressed Hotwheels. Looks more like something from an I Spy book than a toy collectors "grail" shelf. But it houses some of my favorite and oldest pieces and goes with the theme we're shooting for in the house.
