Thanks for making a new thread, and yes the mods should delete the other thread I agree.
I gave up working on my Tamiya F-16CJ, nothing was wrong with the kit, but sometimes you just stop working on a kit for a few weeks and lose all interest in finishing it. One of these days I'll pick it up again and finish it though.
Instead I picked up an older kit, much like the F-16 I stopped working on and abandoned, a Zoukei-Mura P-51D. Going to start painting tomorrow, right now I'm still organizing all the parts and gluing whatever I can together before I start painting. I've also built Tamiya's 1:32 P-51D, and Zoukei-Mura's kit is really nice too, but Tamiya's was much easier to build and the ZM kit has a decent amount of flash which is a pain in the ass to clean up. Also, some of the mold details are kinda soft and could be much better. The panel lines are a little too wide / thick than I would like as well, definitely not as fine as Tamiya's panel lines, but at least they didn't over-load the wings with rivets (which is inaccurate for P-51Ds) like Tamiya did.
