Except in her version, Rapunzel believes Gothel when she says she should come back to the tower and isn't the lost princess so Rapunzel pans Eugene before the stabbing in a dramatic betrayal scene. "I let down my hair so I could see you one more time, before... THIS!" Thwack. Stab. Death. Then they roll his body from the tower and Gothel makes hazelnut soup. And then sometimes the other mother from Coraline and PJ Masks get involved.
