>>8284056>>8288296Sounds like you ought it just to for that consumerist endorphine kick more than to build it and without researching the kit first, and so now your mental hangups get to deep fry your balls. It's like the bit at the end of eighties cartoon where they explain the moral of the story, with extra irony on top since those were themselves largely glorified commercials knee deep in greed and pushing said consumerism as hard as they could.
So let's look at your options. Not that you haven't, you're only posting because you have and didn't like any of them, but just to hammer home how badly you played yourself.
-Just build the fucker. Yeah, you don't wanna. If you thought you were burnt out as it was...
-Scratchbuild. Like above, on roids.
-Get PE. What's the sunk cost fallacy again?
-Bin the whole thing. Leaving you to stew in the knowledge of the money wasted until you get over it. Over-under for how long that'll be? A decade maybe?
-Sell it. Not that you're likely to get that much for it (they had to put it on sale to rope your impulsive consumerist ass into buying it you know), so it's kinda like a not so severe version of "just throw it away" but you have to work a lot more to get it done.
All in all, sounds like the next kit you buy (and not build) will be a B-24.
>>8288212Yes, I'm sure spending more will be the solution, instead of just sitting down and getting started.
It might be a marathon, but even a marathon is just one step after another.
