>>8745572Well, pretty well asides from two things. The first being that white piece on the front by the buffers. The prototype has a curved area leading to the smokebox door that I'm trying to replicate. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to do it but I'm a bit at a loss at the moment on it.
The second is the wheels. One of the defining features of the 812 is that the distance between the rear wheel to the middle wheel is much larger than the distance from the front wheels to the middle ones, and I'm trying to replicate it as best as I can in lego form. The only problem is that the larger the distance between the two flanged outer wheels, the tighter it becomes when trying to take the standard R40 lego curves. It'd probably do fine on any of those 3rd party large radius curves (Don't have any of my own to try out with), but for right now I have to put the two flanged wheels in the rear while putting the blind wheel on the front. It makes curves not an issue, but it also gives the locomotive a bit of a nasty overhang.
