So this past week I got kind of frustrated with how my Classified Series Rambo custom was coming along and I concluded that I made a mistake going with the Gung Ho body on him. His proportions looked really off even with a head that was big enough, like he was in a different scale, and the regular Joe legs on the Gung Ho torso really weren't going for what I wanted. I think I'm gonna have to partially start over using a Zartan torso.
All's not lost though, because I realized I can still use the Gung Ho buck to make Road Pig with Gridiron's kit. It's a little pricey but I can finally add a heavy to the Cobra team. I'm going to use a Marvel Legends Nuke head sculpt and do a bunch of other little kitbashes, recolors additional paint apps that will really make it pop.
I did think of a use for the bigger Rambo head that I won't be using, too. I'm gonna get a KO Neca Rambo from Aliexpress and use the higher quality head I bought to do a custom, and toss it on eBay. I don't normally sell my customs but I don't need a 7" Rambo.
