>>10165467>How is the original design profitable from a business standpoint when the remake is fresh in the public eye and more relevant?Because the only people who would buy a Fluted Armor Demon's Souls Figma are OG fans who would mostly likely think the "new" Fluted Armor looks like dogshit and felt the remake was a monkey paw situation. This almost as bad as doing something like a Donte right after DmC hit. The remake was controversial and mid tier at best among hardcore fans and one of the biggest issues was how they did the designs dirty.
Literally nothing they did in the remake design wise was good. Nothing. So making a toy using their shit tier designs is a HUGE waste. It's gonna sell poorly.
