>>9313878In all due fairness, it's not hard to replicate that aspect. What's hard is to replicate how seamlessly MOTU was able to bridge the gap between all these themes. There's a cohesiveness to MOTU despite all the craziness. Sun-Man in many ways reminds me of low rent blacksploitation junk like the black godfather or blackenstein. The idea is there, but the exceution is lacking in every way. That's partly why I would have preferred any of the other MOTU k.o.'s joining the canon to Sun man.
