I never desired to own scaled figures of holyweird actors in cosplay. I understand live action is big business, but I like my merchandise to be based on the original source.
That said, the past 2 decades of figures from toybiz/hasbro have been a disappointment, so it's only now with some of their later efforts along with Japanese companies that we're starting to see good comic versions of classic characters.
if you're ok with being patient, I think medicom will give us all the classic avengers and 90's x-men. They're struggling with a backlog atm, but no doubt we'll see a mafex rogue, storm, hank and colossus eventually. if you want stuff now and are looking for a big roster that scale together then sadly ML is you're only option.
