Saw someone’s customized 2012 Leonardo and wow, it improves the figure a lot and fixes all my issues I have with the NECA release. Left is before, right is after.

The articulation is a bit wacky, but after upgrades it's a lot better. >The right bicep swivel on mine tore apart, so I had to use the screw method to replace it, turns out it felt a lot better and more study than before, so I also did it on the left arm. >The modifications I did are>Repainted mask+eyes >Trimmed the sides of front shell and repainted>Trimmed out more torso articulation at the joint>Replaced the hinge in the right sword holding hand with a ball joint, for vertical movement>Wired posable bandana in the back>I also separated the front shell from the left side completely, and the bottom, to allow more movement>The last image is a good example of before and after, especially for the shell.
