Finally picked up these two guys because I decided it was time to let Prime Wheeljack in. The legion class dude is hella fun, basically what you'd expect, and just a good pair of elbows away from being a cromulent figure. The deluxe version is pretty great, aside from the whole gorilla stance with the sunken head and crazy long arms. I was ready to forgive that, but what irks me more that I don't think I ever heard anyone mention in the last 5 years is that he has no kind of swivel on his arms at all. Along with the fact that all of his kibble is basically on his arms, it makes him a bit less fun than he good be, but still impressive.
I'm not one to piss and moan about how simple modern figures are becoming, because TR has given me some of my favorite toys of all time, but when you take a sudden jump back and look at an unfamiliar figure from 5 years ago or so, it's kind of sobering to realize just how far we've fallen.
