I also heard that there are some paints that are primer-less (like GPaint) but I'm wonder if I should even bother - I've heard that primer can "smooth out" the part so not only does it stick better but it gives it a better texture (but i don't know if that's actually true or not, and whether primer-less paints would "smooth it out" or not).
Also ignore the black marks: I tried to panel-line the grooves before painting (and then erase it and re-do it after painting) because I was really curious how easy or hard they'd be to line. Apparently the ink from those pour-type gundam markers somehow seeped into the area where the plastic cement had been (even tho it was long dried) and became impossible to come out. No solvent or sanding I did could get that shit off, so hopefully the paint covers it up.
