The point is, she's maybe the laziest transformer I've ever seen, and the only reason people even settled for it is because she's pink and called Arcee. I don't even mind shellforming or backpacks when there's some effort made to make it look dynamic or interesting, I like BW Neo figs after all.. ERcee says fuck it and disregards any pretenses of even being a Transformer by letting you remove half of her altmode, and I've seen people fucking PRAISE the figure for it
the T30/Legends mold wasn't perfect, but the designer at least made some attempt to incorporate the alt mode into the robot mode and vice versa at least a little. And you could tell he cared about the figure he was designing since he made the first draft over 20 years ago at this point(and also the thicc thighs). I would have expected a new Arcee figure to build on the foundation that figure set, or at the very least just give that design waist swivel and ankle tilts but instead we got a rejected RED figure stuffed in a car shell.
Most figures I don't like i simply ignore, but the more I See ERcee the angrier it makes me just for how lazy it is. If you like it, that's fine. Probably better off than me getting autistically mad at a robot lady action figure, but I don;t think anybody can honestly tell me she's a good transformer, and it feels like those who have her just settled for her because they wanted a new arcee and she's what was on shelves at the moment
