>>10003818It sucks. The G1 toy is pretty cool as they go, being as he is basically Hot Wheels that transform and also combine into a pretty sweet looking robot. His Studio Ox design (pic related, based on the toy) fucking rules. That said his Sunbow cartoon model was absolutely awful even by the already low standards of how the combiners were drawn in Sunbow, so basing the Legacy version on that was already dooming it somewhat. If Wildrider and Breakdown were at least on the front of the legs it'd be much better. Though on that note the fact the limbs/cars do fucking nothing to actually combine and yet they STILL couldn't be bothered to work in Scramble City (despite the work necessary being minimal) is shit.
CW's limbs were fine; as arms or legs they were 100% functional, as cars they were aight and as robots they were acceptable. Problem was Motormaster, who was a fun chunky truck toy but blew donkey cock as a torso. Ironically I've seen some people do a decent MM custom out of the Hot Spot mold, and whilst the idea of MORE mold sharing in CW makes me sick it sort of works better than what we got.
I'm happy with my G2 CW Menasor with his upgrades but honestly I'm so combiner'd out. Part of me still wants the UW Ruination set but it costs a fortune now and I know I'll be disappointed.
