>>11582154Neat, the Stargate is pretty cool and the art books look interesting, but nothing else I'm particularly familiar with. Regardless thanks for sharing!
>>11582197>Kim Jung-GiOh damn, didn't know he died. Saw him do a live drawing (pic related) and Q&A when I hit up SDCC that one year. He and his wife (iirc) translator were pretty funny, I remember him making a point where he was drawing a motorcycle and he explained he had no idea how it worked or what the parts did, but he had a rough idea of what they looked like and if it looks like it could work that's good enough! Probably one of the best moments from that Con for me so kinda sad to hear he passed.
>>11582326Starts this Thursday actually with some preview events Wednesday iirc. Crazy how big it's grown over the years.
>>11583842>>11583884Can't say I know how SDCC or NYCC work, but the one I went to you work a set amount of hours and get access for the whole weekend. It could be during set up before, break down after or during the actual event for certain hours. I managed to get on the Set Up crew so I was there the day and the morning before so I was free for the rest of the weekend to actually attend the con. Certainly a good way to get in for free, and if you work with a good crew it can actually be just as, if not more fun.
I'm too old to do that kind of stuff now, but back when I was young and single, totally worth it.
