>>11346255Even G.I. Joe never had a workable interior tank when they were pumping out stuff in the 80s. It was always hatched seats. But at least with some of them the driver could actually fit all the way inside the tank. I don't even want them to be real world accurate, I just like the idea of armored vehicles that have space for a full crew of figures inside them that aren't just 4x4 trucks or troop transports.
Lanard once made a small APC in their Aliens line that could actually fit three figures (sort of) inside and I loved that idea. One driver, one guy on coms and then you could squeeze a third figure in the back as a "gunner". It was super small and barely detailed, and the main "hatch" was just a simple piece of flat plastic. But the fact I could fit three figures in a non-standard (2x2 seating) arrangement made it such a fun toy. If the thing wasn't impossible to find, even back when it was new, I probably would've gotten a few of em.
