>>8172626>How do you guys limit your figure purchases?Self discipline anon. I think everyone on /toy/ and probably every board here suffers from this at times. You have to set limits on your space and money especially when it comes to /toy/. I ask myself this with almost every purchase (will sometimes walk around the store holding it till I reach an answer on these):
Do you want this figure?
>Yes - continue>No - don't buyIn five years, do you think you'll still want this figure?
>Yes - continue>Maybe/No - don't buyIs this something you planned for in your budget?
>Yes - continue>No - don't buyDo you have space for it?
>Yes - continue>No - don't buy>I can make space - think about it moreThen buy it if you can, or give it more thought.
With regards to build-a-figure waves, if I want the build-a-figure, I also have to want more than 80% of the figures in the wave too. If not, no buy. I usually buy smaller sized figures so room isn't as big a deal, but its still something to consider. I am planning on selling/donating/trashing some non-essential figures away here soon as I make room for figures I want in the future. They had their time to shine, and I enjoyed them, but now it's time for them to move on or unfortunately go to the dump.
