>>10908895Figuarts and being absurdly out of scale with each other have been a thing for about as long as the line has existed. In the older days when they didn't care as much about show accuracy, you had absurd giants like Skyrider standing right next to shrimps like Super-1 and Fourze. Today the Rider line, even SHFSS, still doesn't care much about suit actor physiques for whatever reason. Only Ultra and Sentai ever bothered scanning suit actors.
Within SHFSS itself for Rider the scales are nonsensical. New 2 was primarily Nakayashiki Tetsuya at 180cm, slightly taller than New 1's primary Oosugi Yutaro at 179, yet the two are near identical molds for the most part. Fujioka Hiroshi's Old 1 is also 180 but a quarter of a head taller than New 1 for some reason, let alone compared to the old figuarts.
It's all recycling molds and advertising at the end of the day. Expecting proper scale is kind of a fool's errand for Bandai and SHF.
