something like from DC Direct or McFarlane increased in price about 200% since the early 00s, yet childrens toys went from $5-6 to $20-22 now. That's a 400% increase.
Stuff like pic was $13 in 2001 and has a lot less articulation than practically every modern DCD toy which cost $20-25 today.
So adult collectors haven't really been affected as much from increase in costs as much as children have been.
The only collector toys that have been hit hard by increased prices are Japanese ones.
