Dates for the Winter Cup are January 17–19, 24–26; February 1–2, 2020.

/toy/ will also be playing as an autopilot team as we currently don't have a manager, but we do have a caretaker. So far autopilot /toy/ has been pretty successful with a 4th place finish in Spring 2019 and 16th place finish in Summer 2019. Hopefully the team will continue to rise in the upcoming tournament.

After a respectable 4th place finish in the previous Spring cup, /toy/ has advanced to the elite Summer Cup. /toy/ has been grouped with /ck/, /u/, and /y/. The games start at about 1:00 PM EST, but expect slight delays because there are always slight delays. Today /toy/ plays against /ck/ in the second to last match so we've got some time before the game (5:00 PM EST).

Will autopilot /toy/ continue to rise to the top?

/toy/ will (most likely) be playing in the Spring fetus cup before the actual tournament. Dates are currently unannounced but they should be announced in the next coming weeks. /toy/ will also be playing as an autopilot team as we currently don't have a manager, but we do have a caretaker (more on that in the poll).

The Summer Cup is PES football tournament where each board has a team that represents them in AI vs. AI games. Each team has a manager (that's me!) that constructs tactics that gives their board the best chance of winning.

Well, that was a close but rough game. After going down 2-0 I figured PES had decided /toy/ was done, but the fact that we managed to pull it back was impressive on it's own. It could have gone either way. Honestly, I'm glad the game was decided in regulation time as penalties is a literal coin flip.

We've got nothing to be sad about. /toy/ went from the bottom of the bottom to the knockouts of an elite cup. With the way we played, that's a hell of a redemption arc. I hope you all enjoyed the show.

A big thank you to Karth, my tester. He helped out a lot when finding tactics against /jp/ and I couldn't have done it without his help.

/toy/'s Winter campaign might be over, but this isn't the last we'll see of /toy/ before the Summer. First of all, the FLGS Cup III with /tg/, /co/, /m/ and /toy/ is happening next week, and the Tag Team Cup with /dtoy/ is starting on March 18th.

And I know the question has been tossed around so I'll confirm it. Yes, I am retiring as /toy/ manager. HOWEVER, I will be managing and helping out in the invitational games I mentioned. I'll make a more official post later as I don't want to take away from the games going on right now.

Looks like our Autumn Cup campaign will come to a close a bit early. Honestly I'm incredibly proud of the way /toy/ played this cup. The games were entertaining whether it be because of spaghetti or lods e goals and putting on an entertaining match is what matters to me the most. /toy/ played their hearts out at the end of that game, but the /tv/ defense just wouldn't budge.

Thanks to everyone for tuning in. /toy/ will play in Winter sometime in the upcoming months but we have some business to take of before then. Since the next cup will probably be held on PES17 (Thank fucking god), there will probably be roster poll sometime after the new year. So be on the lookout for that.

Lastly, Winter will be my last cup as manager of /toy/ (for real this time I swear). I planned on retiring this cup, but I wouldn't want to retire after finally getting /toy/ back to an elite cup. If you're interesting in helping out for Winter feel free to add me on Skype from the contact page on the wiki.
