So I got in a 50pc pack of random revo joints from a Chinese seller on eBay. Turns out these are pretty sturdy, so I'm going ahead with some minor mods/fixes on a few figures.
I'd gotten a DCC Capullo series Talon at Marshall's for $12, and found the ankle joints were dumb. So far, I've only cut them apart to determine where to start drilling.
The other fixes are for ML movie Gamora, who had bad ankles (one of which broke). I may also shave down her heels and trim up the flap on her shin. The last fix is for a Funko Rocketeer, whose cheap brittle wrist came like this right out of the box.
I'm still trying to figure out what to do with all of the other joints I got, since the only other figure I've got that might benefit from surgery is a LCBH Panda. If all of this is successful, I may move on to Spawn figures (which I'd have to buy) or some other DCC figures if I find anything that looks good and has enough hip articulation already present.
