Serious talk, what are the chances of Kaiyodo, or any action figure manufacturer, going back to TV/Manga Evangelion? I get the focus while Rebuild was active, but now that it's over, and so was any possible legal drama that might have influenced things. Not that I think that mattered since TV ver came out from Koto and Bandai during that.
90's is as good a decade for milking nostalgia. Model kits so different story but GSC is going nuts with MODEROID of mecha around that time. And TV Evas are pretty easy to make in modular manner to produce with mostly shared parts to keep prices down. They shouldn't be like the last few EVA EVO's going hard past 10,000 yen but more in the realm of 8000 yen.
