Y'know, yeah, I'll agree with that. I think even I was being a little too harsh. For the $20 pricepoint especially, they're doing really good work. Sometimes things look a little off, but by and large I'd have to say I'm quite pleased with most of my celeb NECA figures.

Gosh. I've always loved Ali but I just think Storm Collectibles cost too much for what they are.

I wish NECA had gotten a proper crack at a realistic Ali--their comic book one looked kinda weird, and after buying and loving their Clubber Lang, I can believe in them making a pretty darn decent boxing figure.

Stopped by TRU yesterday for the first time in a long time, looking for an Aliens Ripley. No dice, though they did have the Kenner Ripley. But I DID find a Clubber Lang. I'm not huge into Rocky, and I was never planning to buy any of the toys, but damn. This is a really nice fucking figure. Articulation is a bit limited, but the sculpt is dead-on Mr. T. It made me remember why I loved NECA in the first place.
