>>7280783>Doing my first sclae plane for a present due next weekendNice. I'm doing exactly the same thing, My girlfriend found a special edition Tiger Models Hayate kit with a resin cat pilot she thought was cute, so i'm building & painting it for her for christmas.
Although I grew up building aircraft models from a young age its been a really long time since i last did a plane (at least 15 years), I had forgotten how much more work was involved than gunpla kits. The parts fit on the fuselage & wings isnt great either on this particular kit so its definitely been more challenging than anything else ive built in a while. I gave myself the rest of this week to have the plane & base done (so i had an entire week left to take my time on the resin pilot) but with all the extra work that keeps popping up I'm going to be cutting it fine to have it done by then.
