Everything lines up with the fact that TB had a larger budget for their toys than Hasbro did.
When shit like this was released, most of the problems had to do with its engineering and not QC. Almost all new lines have "bugs" in them, which need to be ironed out with subsequent waves. Shit like that happened with Hasbro and their take over of the ML line or their Fury Files.
