has anyone sold their models for a profit? how and where? I'm talking about just selling finished models, not commissions. tell your stories. I might convince myself to set aside some modeling time in the future to make models for the express purpose of selling them

I'm making this for my dad, whose birthday is right around Father's Day, because he served on them in the 70s and participated in Homecoming. sadly Dragon's 1/200 C-141 only comes with one decal sheet designed for USAF Gray (supposedly the Desert Storm camo), and I'm still pretty new to modeling and also couldnt find a decal sheet for ~70s era livery and didn't want to risk fucking it up. plus he'd realize the decals were wrong and would probably make fun of me
